OYS Lourdes Catch-Up Afternoon
Members of the Oblate Youth Service who travelled with the group for the first time in September 2014, were invited to a catch up afternoon session which was hosted by Joe Gilligan and Ger O' Halloran on Saturday, February 21st.. With a busy few months ahead for everyone, the afternoon offered a chance to take a step back and catch up with some familiar faces from Lourdes.
The afternoon began with tea and light refreshments, kindly provided by Dee O' Flaherty and Caoimhe Carroll before Ger O' Halloran led the opening prayer. Everyone then broke into small groups within which any outstanding issues with Lourdes 2014 were discussed as well as conversation about life in general.
It was great to see everyone in good spirits and a big well done is due to those who organised it and who were able to attend. The big question circling the room as the meeting came to a close was 'Will we be seeing you in Lourdes next year?' to which we heard a resounding chorus of 'YES'. Looking forward to Lourdes in September 2015 already!!!
